Guaranteed Cost Certainty
TRC gives you a firm, fixed cost to highly variable liabilities. You have no risk of incurring future payments. You are assured that the work will be completed properly and on time—and you are protected from any unforeseen or changing conditions that could require additional cleanup costs (such as, new, more restrictive regulations or newly discovered contamination).
Total Liability Relief
TRC assumes complete liability for your site—both contractual and statutory. To do this, TRC provides corporate indemnification and, where applicable, direct assumption of any compliance requirements of regulatory agencies. TRC indemnifies you without limitation; you will not face litigation or additional cleanup costs for that site again.
Long-Term Financial Assurance
The Exit Strategy program gives you two strong financial partners—TRC and a major insurer. While TRC stands behind every project and takes full responsibility for each site, we also provide state-of-the-art environmental insurance to protect the project from potential overruns or liabilities from new government requirements and site changes. TRC is an established member of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: TRR) with a reputation for financial growth and stability. Our insurance partners are highly rated insurers who offer long term, comprehensive coverage with high limits and competitive rates. We guarantee that any costs incurred beyond the insurance policy limits are covered by TRC.
Reduced Costs
By eliminating red tape and on-going legal hassles, Exit Strategy can cut costs for environmental cleanup by more than 25%. It also frees up staff to focus on profitable, core business activities. In the case of Superfund sites, collective legal and administrative costs often exceed the costs of cleanup. TRC works with Potentially Responsible Parties (PRPs) and government agencies to obtain a full release for all participating PRPs. By avoiding costly litigation with government agencies and each other, the PRPs substantially reduce their costs reaching a settlement and completing a cleanup.
